Shine was founded by two Cirque du Soleil veterans who will help you perform inversions while suspended from the ceiling in these popular aerial classes. There are two levels of Antigravity Yoga, the first of which combines traditional yoga poses, aerial arts, calisthenics, pilates and dance while promoting agility, flexibility and muscular strength – all while suspended in the air using a silk hammock.
The Antigravity Fitness class will focuses on the “exercise” element found in the aerial arts, with less of the meditative element found in the yoga classes. Students will target major and minor muscle groups, improve grip strength and hone in on their awareness of body form and positioning. Check out the studio’s website for a complete schedule.
