Las Vegas has been called a lot of things, but cheap isn’t one of them. If you’re looking for a way to sample the best snacks and sip the best cocktail concoctions on a budget – happy hour is probably the way to go. Not all happy hours are created equal though, so check out our top five recommendations for which spots to hit up and when.
Vista at Caesars Palace is focused on cocktails all day, everyday, so it’s no surprise that Martini Mondays, a weekly happy hour, is a top-notch destination. The relatively new lounge is serving five different martinis for $12 every Monday, and they are each named after one of New York’s five boroughs.
Now through April 3rd, Vista is hosting “Hoops Mayhem,” for the NCAA Tournament with 9 viewing screens, drink specials and bites that aren’t usually offered at the bar. The Martini Monday menu includes the Staten Island (champagne, mint and Bacardi) and you can pair it with hoops bites like sliders and warm salty pretzels.

Public House is as all-American as it sounds, with comfort foods and an extensive beer menu to satisfy even the most unadventurous of customers. Executive Chef Anthony Meidenbauer created a menu with large and small plates, salads, shellfish and more, but the best way to try this joint is at Summer Social Hour.
On weekdays from June to August, beers, well drinks and house wines are sold for just $4, and you can tack on a select few bar snacks for just $6. A $4 beverage is a rare find on the Strip, so if you happen to be cruising around the Venetian this summer be sure to grab one to give your wallet a break.

Pub 365 is all about the gimmicks. From the 365 beers, to a 15-minute lunch guarantee, this Tuscany Casino spot is trying hard to compete with its friends on the Strip. One way it dominates its competitors is its happy hour prices: featured beers, house spirits and wine are $3.65 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday and 11 p.m. to close everyday of the week. Not all the beers are on special during happy hour but the options rotate daily so even if you become a regular customer, you won’t get bored quickly.
In line with other gimmicks, if you become a member of the Mug Club you could win prizes, private tap party invites and the chance to earn a personalized tap on the Pub 365’s Founder’s Wall.

On the whole, Beerhaus isn’t super special, but there are a few things that could draw you in: 1) the mouthwatering selection of hot dogs and sausages, 2) The “Bye Felicia” ice cream sandwiches, and 3) The “Haus Party Happy Hour”. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily beers are $4, and from 10 p.m. to close everyday, snacks are $4. For a little extra draw, Beerhaus offers Geeks Who Drink trivia on Wednesday’s from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., and has live bands Thursday to Sunday. If you’re feeling fancy, ask your server for the daily list of rare beers or go to the eats counter and ask to see the secret menu.

The Bellagio put its all into the new restaurant that opened in 2015, throwing money and prestige behind the market-inspired menu created by Chef Roy Ellamar. You won’t find a greasy burger here, but instead health-conscious options like wild steelhead trout, sweet potato gnocchi harvest rotisserie chicken. “Harvest Hour,” Ellamar’s version of happy hour, takes a similar stance, as many of the cocktails are made with cold-pressed juices and house-grown herbs. The alcohol may kick the nutrients out of whatever you’re drinking, but it’ll probably help your hangover. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., cocktails, wine and snacks are $7 each.
