The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop come January. There are endless things to do in Sin City all year long, so if you can rally after the most stressful time of the year, take a load off at one of these events.
Graduate from making barely drinkable beer in your bathtub to being a semi-pro with a day at the Big Dog Brewery Beer School. Learn tricks of the trade from the brew team on Saturday and walk away with a batch of a still-to-be-named Black IPA. Your tuition will get you class instruction, lunch at the brewpub, two Big Dog’s beer and tickets to the graduation party later in the month. That comes with two more beers, a diploma, a class picture and a growler filled with your very own beer-school beverage. Tuition is $107 and you can bring and extra guest to the graduation party for $22.

Millions of dollars and tons of horsepower traded hands the last time Bonhams hosted its annual Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction on the Strip, and it’s poised to happen again. And even if you aren’t in a position to lay your money down, car and motorcycle lovers should still cruise through the Rio Hotel and Casino to check out the merchandise. A pristine 1936 “Hemi Head” Crocker is expected to go for $500,000 to $600,000, while even older models, like a 1913 Flying Merkel Model 71 will also be up for grabs.
