Charlie Sheen might want to add “winning HIV” to his list of trademarked “Sheenisms.”
In a shocking announcement on the TODAY Show, the Two and a Half Men actor admitted to being HIV positive, having been diagnosed four years ago. Sheen said he’s trusted the diagnosis with people who have since betrayed him, demanding payouts in order to keep his illness a secret.
One thing is pretty certain: Sheen could be facing some serious litigation in his near future. During his interview, Sheen was adament that he disclosed his diagnosis to all of his 50+ past sexual partners. Since then however, several women have come forward claiming that they were kept in the dark including former porn-star and “Goddess” Bree Olson.
In fact several lawsuits seem to be in the works already. According to TMZ, legal hot-shot Gloria Allred has been contacted by several of Sheen’s former flings. Allred is no stranger to controversy: known for taking on high-profile cases, the noted lawyer is currently representing many of Bill Cosby’s alleged victims. Looks like the troubled actor is riding the mercury surfboard, for all the wrong reasons, again.
