It seems like the media can’t get enough of Tom Brady these days. His seemingly innocuous remarks on the nutritional value of Frosted Flakes and Coca-Cola have been met with a barrage of both praise and outrage.
Playboy, on the other hand, seems to be shying away from controversy. The infamous magazine has declared that it will no longer publish nude pictures in its print edition. Though the publication has a long history of publishing candid interviews and brilliant short stories, I don’t think anyone will argue what the main attraction really was, which raises the question: what will a PG-rated Playboy look like?
And finally, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch, a famous Brothel known for its high-class patrons. It’s only a matter of time until another celebrity is found in less-than-ideal circumstances.
Being an odds-focused site, let’s get to some numbers for all the latest hot-button entertainment stories.
Brady has once again thrust himself back into the media limelight by waging war on Frosted Flakes and Coca-Cola. He blasted the products in a radio interview, criticising their nutritional content and overzealous marketing. Both companies have hit back and defended their products.
If recent events are anything to go by, this could be a drawn-out battle. So grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride.
Odds on what Tom Brady will publicly criticize next:
Odds on what Tom Brady will publicly praise next:
Playboy: 50/1 (It’s trending in a more “wholesome” direction, after all!)
Flat Tires: 1,000/1
Playboy magazine rose to fame for their explicit nudes, especially of the celebrity variety. Sure, they published some great stories by the likes of Kurt Vonnegut and P.G Wodehouse, but it’s likely that a naked Marilyn Monroe sprawled across a velvet sheet also helped sell some copies.
All that is about to change. Playboy has declared that it will no longer feature nudes in its magazine, and instead will focus on … well, they haven’t gotten to that part yet. But we have!
Odds on what Playboy will introduce as a new feature in the print edition:
A “Deep Thoughts” column: 30/1
Baking recipes: 35/1
A Dear Abby ripoff: 50/1
Children’s bedtime stories: 75/1
“Turtleneck of the Month” playmates: 130/1
Knitting advice: 300/1
Explicit tablescapes pictures: 350/1
Odds on what Playboy will get rid of next:
Playboy TV: 5/1
The Playboy Mansion: 500/1
Playboy Bunnies: 1,000/1
Heff’s Pyjamas: 10,000/1
