Whether you’re road tripping to Sin City for the long weekend or looking to entertain your kids this Easter Weekend in your hometown of Las Vegas, these Easter Egg Hunts are sure to bring smiles to the whole family.
The best part? You just have to show up.
Opt for a stress-free holiday weekend by skipping the messy egg dying and all-too-early egg hiding. Instead, let someone else be this year’s Easter Bunny.
1. The Christian Hope Project
The annual Easter Festival hosted by the Christian Hope Project is completely free and packed with activities the kids will love. Five hours of non-stop festivities will not only insure your little ones have a good time, but should also score you some quiet time when they nap off all the excitement.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids will enjoy free bounce houses, carnival games, raffles, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and face painting. Live music and food-for-purchase will entertain the adults while children participate in three different egg hunts with over 50,000 eggs. There are also tons of community vendors at the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Las Vegas.
Location: Craig Ranch Park, 628 W. Craig Road.
2. Town Square Park Hop & Shop Easter Egg Hunt and Family Festival
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., families can visit Town Square for a free Easter egg hunt and family festival featuring activities for children ages one to nine. Hunts start every half hour and each egg found is redeemable for special prizes, including GameWorks game cards, shoes from Pediped, and more. Hunts are divided into age groups and, while free, children must register to participate. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from noon until slots are filled up.
Egg hunting isn’t the only activity on the docket. The festival also features bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, a “Zippy Pals” ride, a craft area, and “Cactus Coaster” train rides.
Free activities include: balloon artist, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny, and the aforementioned egg hunts.
Registration is located next to Yard House and I ♥ Burgers, both prime locations for the grownups to grab a giant adult beverage.
Location: Town Square Park, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd South.
3. Mormon Station Cotton Tails Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Brunch
Leave the Easter meal to someone else this year and make the trek to Mormon Station State Historic Park in Genoa for an event hosted by Jalie Premier Event Planning. Unlike in Town Square Park, parents won’t even have to leave the festivities to add a punch to their Easter brunch: mimosas and Bloody Marys accompany chef April Woodward’s pancake brunch in the stockade starting at 10 a.m.
Two Easter Egg Hunts will kick off at noon, dividing kids into two age groups. Farm-fresh eggs will be for sale at this environment-friendly event, alongside the Easter bunny, a photo booth, and face painter. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children for the pancake brunch. The Easter Egg Hunt is $6 per participant.
Location: 2295 Main St., Genoa.
